Shooting the basketball correctly is the most important skill you need to master in order to play basketball. It is a game that relies on scoring so if you are able to shoot the ball well you will be valued on the teams you continue to play on. As you play basketball into the older age groups, it is important to be able to shoot the ball successfully enabling you to score from a longer distance from the basket. With the correct shooting form and good habits, you will be well ahead of the game.
