Youth Teams double header at home this week

Camberwell will be looking to stretch its season-opening winning streak to three when it hosts Geelong United in tonight’s Big V Youth League One Women’s game at Balwyn High School.

The Dragons made it two from two with a 70-47 away win against Collingwood last week and enter Round 3 in third place behind unbeaten Eltham and Bulleen.

Tonight’s clash with Geelong (4pm) is the first of two dates this weekend for the Dragons, who’ll back up against Sunbury at Boardman Stadium tomorrow (12pm).

The Camberwell Youth Men’s team will also be out to remain unbeaten when it goes head to head with Hume at Balwyn High tonight (6pm).

The Dragons improved to a league-best 3-0 with double-digit away wins against Keysborough and Collingwood last weekend, while Hume (2-0) is also undefeated after opening with wins against Collingwood and Coburg.

In other Big V action this weekend, the Dragons’ Championship Women’s team will play Bulleen at East Doncaster Secondary College tonight (8pm), and our Championship Men’s team will square off with Blackburn at Mullum Mullum Stadium (tonight, 8pm).
