Veitch lands place on Big V Starting Five

Sam Veitch and our Youth League Men are on the rise again after winning back-to-back Big V home games at the weekend.
The Dragons cruised to a 92-56 win against Coburg at Balwyn High School on Saturday afternoon, and then needed an extra five minutes to get past Bendigo in overtime at the same venue on Sunday.
Veitch had it going against the Braves, closing with 16 points, a game-high 12 assists, five rebounds and two steals as the Dragons held off their guest for a 98-92 win.
The Dragons improved to 6-2 and Veitch’s performance was recognised by the decision makers at league HQ today when he was named on the Big V Youth League One Men’s Starting Five for Round 6.
