Semi Final Victory
Congratulations to the Youth League men who defeated Warrandyte 83-72 to advance through to the grand final next weekend.
In what was a thrilling clash at the dragons lair, a packed house watched the game go down to the wire with the dragons closing out the match in fine fashion and advancing to next weeks grand final against Coburg Giants.
It was a game of runs with camberwell stars Mark Jeffers (22 points, 7 rebounds, 7 assists, 5 steals), Matt Barr (19 points) and John Young (9 points, 16 rebounds) leading the way for the dragons.
This is the first time in 6 tries that a senior Camberwell side has progressed past the semi finals into the grand final, and expect it to be a huge game next week at Balwyn High School where the boys look to take out the championship.
