Rachael’s Big V month to remember

Rachael Smith has been a big deal for our Youth League Women’s team this season, and people are taking notice.

The good times continued for Rachael when she was named the Big V Youth League One Women Player of the Month for June – recognition for a three-game stretch in which she averaged 13.6 points, 17.3 rebounds and 3.3 assists for the Dragons.

Her work during that run including an outstanding 15-point, 24-rebound, five-assist, three-block performance against McKinnon.

And Rachael was at it again at the weekend, averaging 12.5 points and 22 rebounds as the Dragons swept their two games against Geelong United and Sunbury to close Round 14 of the Youth League One season in third place.

Congratulations Rachael from all at Camberwell for an outstanding achievement.
