At A Glance:
12.2: our 12.2 Girls win big on the road at Mornington to stretch their unbeaten start to the season to six. They lead VJL 1 by a game from Pakenham (5-1).
12.4: improve to 4-2 (second in VJL 3) with a 23-20 home win against Wyndham 2.
14.1: move to 5-1 in the VC Ashe competition with a 46-point home win against Ballarat. Dragons are third behind unbeaten league leaders Kilsyth 1 and Sandringham 1.
16.1: beat visiting Coburg 1 to improve to 2-3 in VJL 1. They closed the round in seventh place.
16.4: win by 10 points on the road against Knox 4 to improve to 5-1. They trail only Kilsyth (6-0) in the VJL6 competition.
18.3: win by eight points on the road against Keilor 3 to get their first win of the season. The Dragons improved to 1-3-2 (yes, you did that right. They’ve had two draws already in VJL2 play!)
18.4: the good times just keep coming for this group, which cruised past Ringwood 3 on the road to stay perfect after six rounds. It shares place in VJL 6 with Blackburn 2. Our girls have a bye next week, and guess who they’ve got the following week? Yes, they’ll go head to head with Blackburn at BSC. Circle that one in your diary!
20.1: life is good for these Dragons, who improved to 3-0-1 with a 39-34 win against visiting Casey 1. Madeline Grossman had 22 points to lead Camberwell, which is second behind Bulleen 1 in VC. The Boomers off to a 4-0 start.
