Results of Camberwell Dragons VJBL Games played on Friday, July 14 – Under 12, 14, 16, 18 and 20 Girls
Highlights:
12.2 – Natalie Lai led all scorers with nine points and Myla Codrington added seven to lead the Dragons to a 25-14 road win against McKinnon 2. Camberwell improved to 10-3-1 and is second in VJL1 (P1).
12.6 – Imogen Borrello had a game-high 10 points in a big road win against Dandenong 7. The Dragons lead VJL 6 (P2) with a 10-2 record.
14.2 – Gabrielle Bolden led the way with 14 points and Sydney Ridley added seven in a 39-25 win against Bulleen 3 at Mullum Mullum Stadium. The Dragons set up their win with a 14-2 second quarter and improved to 9-4-1. They’re in fourth place in VJL2.
14.4 – Jessica Prior had a game-high 11 points in a 35-19 win at Camberwell Grammar. These Dragons are 10-4 and second in VJL6 (P1).
16.1 – Sophie Richardson poured in a game-high 22 points and Stella D’Alessandro added 10 as the shorthanded Dragons rallied from two down at three quarter-time for a 52-43 win at Bendigo. Camberwell improved to 5-8-1 and is eighth in VJL1 – two points back from fifth-placed Casey (6-7-1).
16.6 – Closed the round with a 6-6 record and fifth in VJL7 (P3) after a 45-28 win against Hawthorn 2 at Camberwell Grammar. Bianca Ierufi with 12 points for the Dragons.
18.3 – Rolled to a 39-25 road win against Craigieburn after outscoring its host 23-12 after halftime. Isabel Tan with 10 points for the Dragons, who improved to 6-6-2 and are sixth in VJL2.
18.4 – League-leading Camberwell improved to 12-1 in VJL6 (P2) with a 45-29 road win against Chelsea 2. All six Dragons scored – Leia Ong leading the way with 10 points.
