DRAGONS VJBL RESULTS – FRIDAY, MAY 26
Boys Under 12, 14, 16, 18, 20

Highlights:

12.1 – Beat Frankston 3 by 14 points at Balwyn High School to improve to a league-best 8-1 at the halfway mark of the VJL1 (P1) season.

12.4 – Put up 64 points in a big win against Dandenong 4 to improve to 6-2-1. Closed Round 9 in a three-way tie with Casey 4 and Warrandyte 1 for second place in VJL4 (P1).

12.7 – Hit the halfway mark of the season second in VJL8 (P2) with a 6-1-1 record after a 35-23 road win against Warrandyte 2.

14.1 – Closed the first half of the VC season with a 62-62 draw against visiting Bulleen 1. Will become the first Under 14 Boys team from Camberwell to compete at the National Junior Classic when it tips things off next month.

14.7 – Rolled over visiting Ringwood 6 at Melbourne Girls’ College to wrap up the first half of its VJL10 (P1) season with a 9-0 record. George Lueth with a team-high 12 points for the Dragons.

16.1 – Aussie Stathopoulos finished with a game-high 27 points as the Dragons beat visiting Chelsea 1 to improve to 5-3-1 (fourth in VJL 1). A big thank you from the team to Under 14.1s guard Fred Hardman, who stepped up to give Camberwell seven players on the night, and did a great job.

18.2 – Hamish Campbell-Burns led all scorers with 16 points in a big win against Nunawading 3 at Melbourne Girls’ College. The Dragons improved to 5-4 and are third in VJL5 (P1).
