DRAGONS VJBL RESULTS: Round 11 games played Friday, June 9
Under 12, 14, 16, 18, 20 Boys

Highlights:

12.2 – Jakob Suleski finished with a game-high 21 points and Bertram Zhou added 20 in a 58-52 road win against third-placed Nunawading 2. Dragons improved to 5-6 and are seventh in VJL2.

14.2 – Andom Rendell led the way with 13 points in a 42-41 road win against Geelong United. Camberwell moved to 8-2-1 and is second in VJL2, a point clear of third-placed Sandringham 2.

14.7 – Kept their perfect season alive with a 46-31 home win against McKinnon 6. George Lueth had nine points and Harley Smith and Lachlan Maddock each added eight for the Dragons, who improved to 11-0 and sit on top of VJL10 (P1), four points clear of second-placed Dandenong 8.

16.1 – Max Pavey poured in a game-high 21 points, Austin Stathopoulos added 14 points and six steals, and Rhys Ingram had nine points and seven rebounds in a 59-50 road win against Nunawading 2. Dragons improved to 7-3-1 and are tied with Nunawading for third place in VJL1.

16-8 – Oliver Groves had 18 points to lead a seven-player roster to a 41-35 win against Waverley 6 at Camberwell Grammar. The Dragons trailed by five at the halftime, but pulled away with a 28-17 second half. They lead the VJL11 competition with a 9-2 record, tied with Ringwood 6.

18.6 – Beckley Kleynhans had 14 points and was one of three double-digit scorers for Camberwell in a 63-22 win against Warrandyte 4 at Melbourne Girls’ College. The Dragons are seventh in VJL9 (P1) with a 3-6-2 record.

20.1 – Angus Nelson led all scorers with 29 points to lead the Dragons to a 67-58 win against second-placed Frankston 1. Harry Thomas added 10 points for Camberwell, which improved to 5-5 and is fifth in VC – two points back from fourth-placed Melbourne.
