Dragons Big V double-header at Balwyn
Big V action returns to Balwyn High School this weekend, and we’ve got a double-header featuring the Dragons Youth League Women and Championship Men at our place tomorrow night.
Rachael Smith and the third-placed YLW will be shooting for their third win in four games when they tip things off against fifth-placed McKinnon at 4pm.
And Jay Mackenzie and the men’s team have business to attend to against local rival Blackburn, with that one scheduled to get under way at 6pm.
In other Dragons Big V games this weekend, our Championship Women’s team has a date with Pakenham at Cardinia Life tomorrow night (6pm), and our Youth League Men’s team will be looking to stretch its winning streak to five when it meets highly ranked Hume at Broadmeadows Basketball Stadium (tomorrow, 8pm).
The Broncos lead the Youth League One Men standings with a 12-2 record and Camberwell (10-4) is fifth, so this shapes as a big one.
