Dean, Dragons brace for testing double
Jackson Dean and Camberwell Dragons Youth League Men face a testing road-home double this weekend as they continue their late-season push for a Big V finals berth.
The Dragons open on the road against Altona on Saturday night (7.30pm) before stepping out in a high-stakes game against Bulleen at Balwyn High School on Sunday (2pm).
Camberwell (12-7) is sixth in the Youth League One competition with just three games left in the regular season – a win back from Bulleen (13-7).
In other Dragons Big V action this weekend, our Championship Women host McKinnon at Balwyn High on Saturday night (6pm) and our Youth League Women host Bulleen at the same venue in the first game of the Sunday double-header (12pm).
The third-placed Dragons (14-5) are on a three-game winning streak, while the Boomers (16-3) are second behind unbeaten Eltham (20-0).
