Coleman, Victoria Metro cruise into semi-finals
Camberwell’s James Coleman had five points and six rebounds as Victoria Metro crushed South Australia Country in Brisbane today (Friday) to remain unbeaten after the quarter-finals at the Australian Under-18 national championship.
Coleman shot the ball at 2-of-6 from the field and 1-of-4 from the three-point line in 22 minute for the Vics, who set up a 19-9 lead at quarter-time and never looked back on the way to a 111-67 win, their sixth in a row at the 13-team tournament.
Luke Fennell had a game-high 24 points and six rebounds in 23 minutes to pace Victoria, which shot the ball at a blistering 55 per cent from the field and had five players score in double figures in another dominant performance.
The Vics moved through to the semi-finals.
