Boomers hold off Dragons in title game

Bulleen held off Camberwell to win last night’s Big V Youth League 1 Women championship game at East Doncaster Secondary College.
The Boomers trailed by two at the half but outscored the Dragons 22-14 after halftime to record a 40-34 win.
Kaitlyn Wallace had 12 points, six rebounds and three steals to lead Camberwell and Rachael Smith finished with four points, 16 boards and three steals.
Bulleen’s Tahlia Leeson led all scorers with 18 points.
Congratulations to the Boomers on their win tonight and to the Dragons for what has been a wonderful season.
