Veitch, Power drive Dragons past Braves in OT

Matt Power (20 points, 13 rebounds) and Sam Veitch (16 points, 12 assists, five rebounds) posted double-doubles as Camberwell turned back Bendigo in overtime at Balwyn High School on Sunday to make it back-to-back wins in Big V Youth League One Men play.

Conor Mathews added 13 points and two steals for the Dragons, who outscored the Braves 16-10 in the extra period to secure the win, 98-92.

It was the second win in less than 20 hours for Camberwell, which rolled to a 92-56 rout of Coburg at the same venue on Saturday night.

The Dragons closed the round with a 6-2 record and in third place in the standings behind Hume (6-1) and Sherbrooke (7-2).
