Fun and games for surging Dragons

Yes, these are good times for Kaitlyn Wallace and our Women’s Youth Team, and you can join in the fun this weekend when they return to Balwyn High School.

The second-placed Dragons, led by head coach Danni Fidge, will be shooting for their seventh straight win in Youth League One Women play when they tip things off at home against visiting Coburg (3-4) at 4pm.

It’s the first game of a double-header at Balwyn High on Saturday, with our fourth-placed Youth Men’s team (4-2) scheduled to go head to head with Coburg (0-6) at 6pm.

Camberwell out to restore order in that one after losing by five on the road against league leader Sherbrooke last weekend. It’s the first of two Round 6 home dates this weekend for the Dragons, who’ll be back at Balwyn High on Sunday afternoon to host Bendigo (12pm).

Our Championship Men’s team (3-4) will tip things off against second-placed Sunbury (5-1) at Balwyn High on Sunday (2pm), while our Championship Women (3-3) will also be in action on Sunday.

They’ll play McKinnon (3-3) on the road (GESAC, 2pm).
