Ryleh fuels Dragons’ fire
Ryleh Killian (29) continued her fast start to the season on Saturday night, closing with a game-high 29 points as the visiting Dragons routed Warrandyte to stay perfect in Big V Youth League One Women play.
Killian added 11 rebounds and three steals to pace Camberwell, which outscored Venom 50-9 after halftime on its way to an 80-30 win and its sixth straight victory to open the season.
It was another big night from Ryleh, who won a place on the Youth League One Women Starting Five for Round 5, and is averaging a team-leading 17 points a game.
The Dragons closed the round with a 6-0 record and in second place behind unbeaten Eltham (7-0).
They’re coming home to Balwyn High School on Saturday night (April 29) for a Round 6 date with Coburg. Tip-off is 4pm.
