Killian, Li fire Dragons to fourth straight win
Ryleh Killian posted her second straight double-double and Jacinta Li finished with a game-high 22 points and four rebounds as the visiting Dragons beat Sunbury 79-47 on Sunday to stay perfect in Big V Youth League One Women play.
Killian had 15 points and 10 rebounds, Rachael Smith added nine points and 15 boards, and Jade Knight had six assists to go with seven points for Camberwell, which improved to 4-0.
Coming off a 65-42 win against Geelong United at Balwyn High on Saturday night, the Dragons outscored Sunbury 23-7 in the second quarter to set up a 50-29 lead at the half, and never looked back.
Camberwell closed Round 3 in second place – a game back from Eltham (5-0).
Next up for the Dragons is an April 16 home date against Wyndham at Balwyn High School.
