DRAGONS VJBL RESULTS – FRIDAY, MAY 19
Girls Under 12, 14, 16, 18, 20

Highlights:

12.2 – Stretched their season-opening winning streak to eight with a 34-28 win on the road at Casey 2. Dragons improved to 8-0 and lead VJL 1(P1) from Pakenham 1 (7-1).

12.4 – A big night from our 12.4 Girls, who turned up the defensive heat in a 48-17 road win against Altona 2 – the Dragons giving up just seven points over the first three quarters. Isabel Newman had 16 points to lead Camberwell, which improved to 5-3 and closed the round in third place.

14.1 – Jasmine Ager led all scorers with 27 points in the Dragons’ 73-47 road win against Coburg 1. Camberwell improving to 6-2.

16.4 – Gracie Shearer had a team-high seven points as the Dragons ground out an important 27-25 win against Knox 3 at BSC. Camberwell improved to 7-1 and is second in VJL 6 behind Kilsyth 4 (8-0).

18.1 – Sophie Jones led all scorers with 15 points and Jasmine Chan-Clayton added 12 as the Dragons (4-3) outscored Melton 30-15 after halftime en route to 52-32 road win.

20.2 – Bailey O’Hara led the way with 18 points for the Dragons in a 45-43 road win against Knox 3. Camberwell with a 2-5 record at the end of Round 7.
