DRAGONS BOYS VJBL RESULTS, ROUND 7, MAY 12, 2023
Under 12, 14, 16, 18 and 20 (U20 games are Round 6)
Highlights:
12.1 Boys – won 58-47 on the road against Pakenham to hold on to first place in VJL 1. The Dragons are one of three teams at 6-1, tied with Kilsyth 2 and Southern Peninsula 1.
12.6 Boys – turned back visiting Knox 6 to improve to 5-2 and closed the round in third place. They’re two points behind top-of-the-table Eltham 8 (5-1) and a point behind Camberwell 7. The 7s with a 33-25 win against Eltham 7 on Friday.
14.3 Boys – had too much for visiting Geelong United at home and registered their fourth win (4-3). Ethan Vogdanos with a game-high 12 points for the Dragons.
16.4 Boys – Quinlan Thorp scored a team-high 14 points to lead the Dragons to a 49-41 road win against Sandringham 4. The Dragons outscored the Sabres 20-9 in the final quarter to improve to 2-5.
16.8 Boys – made a fast start on the road against Ringwood 6 and held on for a 51-43 win. The Dragons improving to a league-best 6-1 in VJL play.
18.2 Boys – Max Paten had a team-high 20 points and James Godfrey added 13 points as Camberwell improved to 4-3 in the VJL 5 competition with a 56-48 road win against Frankston 4.
