As we build towards the start of our first summer season in February 2022, we wanted to provide people with some additional information about the new Community Basketball League and how to get involved!
Background to the Community Basketball League
Recently, the Camberwell District Basketball Association, Inc. (the Association) was approached by a number of domestic basketball clubs in the area about creating a new, community-focused basketball competition which would provide good value for money and be a local competition for local players at local venues. The Association is passionate about increasing community engagement and participation in basketball and so responding to this request and doing our part to support grass-roots basketball was consistent with the values that the Association was founded upon and lives by.
